Festivals or gala events Lebanon hosts various festivals and gala events with great pomp and show wherein all domestic and global contestants can take part in: Beiteddine Festival, Al-Bustan Festival, Beirut Nights, Al-Bustan Festival, Byblos International Festival etc. Besides this, it is also quite dazzling for a tourist to watch the Eid-ul-Fitr, representing the end of Ramadan and Eid-al-Adha representing the end of Hajh, the yearly pilgrimage to Mecca. Modes of traveling in Lebanon While in Lebanon, tourists are specifically advised to keep their passports on them for the sake of convenience. Through the mean of public transportation, you can reach Lebanon by primarily traveling through Syria as it lies quite near to it. However, most tourists travel through buses as they are the most convenient means for long-distance traveling and also because they are very neat and clean and managed duly. Services taxis can also be hired at negotiable rates. Motorcars and motorcycles can be introduced in Lebanon provided you must have International Driving Permit and a Carnet Passage en Douane as well. |
